our story
In 2015, a grandfather called Andrew Hansen (one of our founders) decided to become Santa Claus for his 2 grandsons in Oxford, England, little did he know that this act of bringing joy and happiness to his grandsons would grow into a much larger project each year.
Word quickly spread… Over the following 7 years he had requests to appear at schools, community events, children’s hospices and even home visits. December had become a month of delivering joy, hope and happiness for children across the United Kingdom. During the pandemic the work continued with Covid-safe visits, videos and zoom calls. In 2021 over 2,000 children and their families were brought joy and happiness through the magic of Santa Claus.

In 2022 ‘Dear Santa UK C.I.C’ was born with a mission of delivering Christmas Gifts to children under the age of 16 who are in care, in hospice or suffering from a terminal illness at home. In addition to promote and further the care and relief of children who are terminally ill or suffering from a medical condition that
creates the probability that the child would not survive beyond their 16 birthday.
This would be achieved though the granting of requests received by Dear Santa.
Our goal is simple – to help as many families and children as we can with Christmas Presents, Granting Requests and the supply of Medical Equipment.

To grant 1,000 requests for Medical Equipment Aid fulfillment
